Isela - Maybe we can do the following activity with the kids over winter break? http://palabrasyjuguetes.leer.org/ It's in Spanish but we could probably start looking for similar competitions and activities in English. Obviously not all the kids are old enough to participate but still it could be fun for the older ones. Also, how about a make your own book activity? (we've done this with Eli and it's easy to go to the libreria to get it bound and make a cover) Or we could have the kids draw their own illustrations or pictures from their favorite book and we could hang them on the walls in the library? Count on me if you want me to organize one of these activities during the winter break at the library.
